How does TLC work

Effective communication training starts with clear objectives and follows a proven path to success.

Assessment based Approach

TLC offers Assessment Based Training to help companies define their Training Need Analysis on a more objective note rather than a subjective note. Training through assessment ensures that the programmes offered are best suited for your needs. This helps companies move their attitude from “we think we need this training” to “we know we need this training” !

TLC uses unique assessment tools that helps companies and individuals assess on both language skills (online assessment) and behavioural skills (one to one interaction).

Goal setting

We approach a company and have a discussion with the HRs, Team Leaders & L&D managers to understand training needs and group the employees as per need. We mutually decide on a problem area. Let’s suppose the problem area to be Assertiveness and Written Communication as an example.

Assessment

We assess the employees with respect to their Listening-Speaking-Reading-Writing and various Behavioural skills such as Empathy, Conflict Resolution, Listening Skills and Structure and Clarity. This is done using both our online tools and face to face interaction.

Programme Planning

We customize and develop a curriculum that takes care of Assertiveness and Written Communication for a team size of 15-20 participants.

Training

We conduct trainings (virtual or classroom as per preference) on the assessed parameters. To ensure maximum participation and interaction, trainings are scenario based and conducted through gamifications.

Mentoring

If during training, we identify participants who need a little extra attention, we offer an assistance program that allows them access to our trainers and resources for an extended period, determined by need.

Re-assessment

Participants are re-assessed after a gap of two months from the training to quantify the impact of the training. This further defines the training development plan for each individual.

TLC introduces CSLP to make sure that involvement in a learning process is optimum.

Through the parameters provided by the CSLP module, I understand that learning from a classroom trainer will be best for my goal.

I observe the assessed parameters from my trainer through a detailed step by step process laid out by the CSLP module.

Absorb

I learn to prioritize, infer and map step by step, as guided by the CSLP programme.

Execute

I plan out my areas of execution with the CSLP guideline and apply them systematically.

Feedback

I gather feedback about my application and continue to learn.
